Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing the register at shift end
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Qualifications
Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is a plus
Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash registers
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a food industry setting
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
