HR AnalystPosition end date: November 30, 2026About the RoleReporting to the Manager, HR Systems, the HR Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and integrity of our HR systems. Working at the intersection of technology and human resources, this role will provide the coordination and analysis necessary to support the broader HR team. This is a hands‑on role where the incumbent will investigate system issues, perform data audits, and assist with the implementation of new system modules. We are looking for a problem‑solver who enjoys technical troubleshooting and wants to be an integral part of high‑impact projects like system upgrades and reporting enhancements.This position is a replacement term role working 35 hours per week, and expected to end November 30, 2026.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and complete scheduled reporting and analysis as requiredPerform data investigations, or other troubleshooting requests including communicating back to the clientsSupport position management activities (Payroll Redistribution forms, Reclassification forms, Title changes, Reports to changes)Review and action workflow requests for HR timesheet requests and related securityReview and setup and modifying timesheet users and/or approvers in applicable system locationsTriage HR Systems inbox and responding to queriesProvide contract administration supportPerform information and report requestsComplete User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Test new Argos Reports, or Banner scheduled upgrades, break‑fixes, modifications or enhancements, documenting test scripts or report issues; other testing, asrequiredComplete information requests that require manual look up of information in systemsModify systems’ user guides,
as requiredEnsure familiarity with the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and ensure all HR information is handled in accordance with ATIA guidelines and University practicesContinuously improve HR forms and process, i.E., creating PDF fillable forms, google forms, etc.Participate on committee and project teams, as appropriateOther tasks as requiredQualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, business information systems or other relevant demonstrated education related to the roleCPHR designation is considered an asset3 – 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources, Payroll or similarly confidential and sensitive environmentA combination of previous education and experience may also be consideredExperience in a fast‑paced office environment with multiple competing deadlinesAptitude for data analysis and critical thinking in a dynamic environmentAbility to independently manage work assignments and multiple priorities to achieve deadlinesExperience using an HRIS; Ellucian Banner experience considered a robust assetAbility to communicate effectively in both written and oral form on sensitive issues in a busy environmentMust demonstrate sound judgment in terms of situations that are priority and items that must be highlighted to a consultant or ManagerDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, Google Workspace, electronic databasesExperience with SQLExcellent customer service skills with the ability to tactfully handle conflict situationsWell‑developed teamwork skillsAccuracy and attention to detail is essentialAbility to independently problem solveFamiliarity with privacy legislation and ability to maintain strict confidentialitySalary:$65,827 - $83,245 per annum#J-18808-Ljbffr
