Join the City of Edmonton's initiative for Vision Zero as a Protected Mobility Engineer in Training. Focus on engineering support, safety analysis, and traffic project implementation. As part of the Safe Mobility team, you will assist in achieving secure and livable streets in Edmonton.
This role includes performing in-depth safety analysis and contributing to traffic safety evaluations. Under senior engineering supervision, you'll develop key skills in data analysis and project support aimed at reducing traffic-related injuries by 2032. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze traffic data for safety concerns
Conduct geometric and operational analyses using guidelines
Recommend effective safety measures based on findings
Work on engineering drawings for safety projects
Support project planning and execution with the team Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
APEGA EIT status required
Relevant experience in traffic planning and safety
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence Enhance your engineering skills while contributing to traffic safety in Edmonton.
