Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in repairing and maintaining various types of machinery, with a focus on farm equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
Duties
Diagnose mechanical issues in farm machinery and other equipment.
Perform repairs using hand tools and power tools effectively.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest repair techniques and industry standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Solid understanding of farm machinery operation and repair techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Sales experience is a plus, as it may involve interacting with customers for potential upselling opportunities.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred.
