We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials based on available ingredients.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
Solid knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
