Seeking an experienced assistant to the press operator of our Heidelberg SM 74 5-col printing press.
Expresses thoughts and ideas in a explicit and effective way. Able to perform physical tasks. Work collaboratively well with others. Able to read Heidelberg console, cut stock, set-up plates, ink-up and wash-up. Mechanically inclined, able to diagnose general mechanical issues and relay this info to Heidelberg technicians.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation of the printing press.
Able to take direction from the press operator
Help to maintain the press in optimal conditions
Communicate with Heidelberg technicians on mechanical issues.
Follow safety guidelines.
Use judgment when responding to job-related changes.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $148.50-$339.45 per day
