Morriston Park is seeking a dependable and service-oriented full time Cook to join our dietary team. This is a hybrid position that combines cooking responsibilities with Dietary Aide duties. The successful candidate will prepare and serve high-quality meals, assist residents during meal service, and help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.

Proof of Immunization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Experience working in a long-term care or healthcare setting is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
Report to the Food Services Manager and/or Administrator.
Prepare and serve meals according to standardized menus, ensuring portions, texture, temperature, and timeliness meet requirements.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
Follow established policies, procedures, and work assignments.
Set up and prepare items such as beverages, salads, and desserts.
Take meal orders from residents as needed
Set dining tables and prepare tray service as required.
Clean dishware and cutlery after each meal seating.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Check and serve residents according to their special diet orders.
Take inventory of food and supplies as needed.
Attend staff meetings, in-service education sessions, and workshops.
Ensure compliance with fire, safety, and infection control protocols.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Risk Management programs, including audits and reports.
Maintain professional and accurate record-keeping/documentation.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote a healthy work culture
