Job Posting: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Muin Sipu Learning Center offers early learning programs as well as after school programming. The Center offers a play-based, emergent and culturally meaningful curriculum for all programs. We are looking for a qualified, passionate and motivated individual to join our team of educators.

This position is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications:
A diploma, certificate or degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution
Minimum Level 1 ECE certification
Valid First Aid Certification with Infant CPR
Clear and valid child abuse registry, criminal record and vulnerable person checks

Responsibilities:
Play-based, emergent program development,



including observations and evaluation of play and development of the children in your care
Work collaboratively with other ECE’s in a team setting
Provide a secure, nurturing and stimulating learning setting to enhance development in all areas, while providing for the health and social well-being of the children
Use of appropriate behavior guidance techniques
Establish and maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents and manager
Maintain an inviting and clean classroom environment
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $44,200.00-$48,048.00 per year
