Your role as the Atlantic Discipline Leader involves providing strategic oversight and technical authority for vital mine water services. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in mine water management throughout project phases
Develop tailored water balance models for local conditions
Evaluate and oversee the design of water management infrastructure
Guide regulatory compliance and environmental assessment activities
Lead mentorship initiatives for junior mine water professionals
Requirements:
M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or similar
At least 12 years of mine water management experience
Effective leadership and team management skills
Understanding of ARD/ML issues in mining
Knowledge of Atlantic Canadian regulations
