Duties
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards
Assist in food preparation by chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and setting up stations for cooks
Support cooking staff by providing timely ingredient replenishment and ensuring all prep work is completed efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all tasks




Help with stock rotation and inventory management of supplies and ingredients
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
Capable of standing for extended periods and working efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff effectively
Basic understanding of serving procedures and meal presentation standards
