Our IHOP restaurants are currently seeking Hosts/Hostesses! Our IHOP Restaurants include: IHOP Tower (located inside the Tower Hotel), IHOP Wyndham Grand Fallsview, IHOP Wyndham Garden, and IHOP Lundy's Lane.

Job Responsibilities:
Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
Uses visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference.
Informs guest of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth hand-off to the service staff.
Promptly answers incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
Manages the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provides accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
Tends to special guest needs and requests.
Follows all relevant brand standards to deliver exceptional service.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Use arithmetic to total costs and make change.




Communicate with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to give them information.
Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.
Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle dishes, money, merchandise, etc. Lift and carry heavy items, such as trays.

Job Qualifications:
Host/Hostess - no experience required, some previous customer service experience preferred
