The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible, under the direction of the Controller for a variety of accounts payable functions which include processing and posting payments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Answer switchboard and forward calls as necessary.
Greet visitors and direct them as required.
Manage all ingoing/outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries.
Manage inventory and order office supplies.
Administer employee appreciation program.
Collect, analyze, and verify bills for payment and cheque requests.
Prepare bank deposits and daily cash deposits.
Manage land accounts receivable, lot sales, and miscellaneous invoicing.
Sort, code and enter bills for payment.
Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries.
Reconcile monthly statements.
Process employee expenses for reimbursement.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Positive working knowledge of Excel and Word.

· Extremely reliable, organized, high level of confidentiality.

· Exceptional attention to detail, even while under pressure working on repetitive tasks.





· Capable of a large workload in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.

· Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Self starter who can utilize common sense and judgement in day-to-day matters.

· Professional personal presentation.

· Criminal record check is required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

One or more of the following would be considered an asset:
Community college diploma or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting.
Knowledge or experience in accounting, and cost analysis is an asset.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $38,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
