Staff Plus is currently recruiting for a COP ASSEMBLER for a client located in Mississauga, ON. Perform assembly of car operating panel by referencing related CAD schematics and drawings.
Working Hours:
Days: 7am to 4:30pm Monday- Thursday and Friday 7am to 3:30pm at $22.00 per/hour
Afternoons: Monday- Thursday; Friday 3pm to 12:00am, at 24.20 per/hour
Job Description:
Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings.
Assemble products within specified period of time.
Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently
Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices
Identify non-conformances.
Complete shop records accurately.
Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality.
Communicates well with colleagues and team leader.
Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
Detail-oriented and accurate in a rapid-paced workplace.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in assembly work
At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical)
Read schematics and drawings
Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies
Medium to highly detail-oriented
Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred
Able to lift up to 50lbs
