Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly processes, with a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics. In this position you will be using your skills to fabricate high quality lowbed and tag a long trailers.

What you’ll do
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various grades of steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Fit and weld profile cut steel based on blueprints
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
Operate forklifts and cranes safely to transport materials around facility.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues

Basic qualifications




Proven experience in welding, fitting, or fabricating within a manufacturing workplace.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various welding equipment and tools effectively.
Familiarity with basic math concepts for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience welding mild, and hardened steel grades.

Preferred qualifications
Experience in multi pass MIG welding
Experience working in a heavy duty manufacturing setting is an asset.
Previous experience in aluminum welding is an asset.

Pay: $20.44-$28.00 per hour
