Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement a high-quality, engaging program for children ages 3–5, incorporating age-appropriate activities, play-based learning, and Reggio based early learning curriculum
Create a warm, protected, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported, confident, and encouraged to thrive
Support each child’s individual growth by recognizing their unique strengths, interests, and developmental needs
Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through meaningful experiences, guided learning, and hands-on exploration
Provide leadership, mentorship, and collaboration within the classroom team to ensure a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment
Build strong, professional relationships with families through open communication regarding children’s development, daily experiences, and milestones
Observe, document, and monitor children’s progress to support developmental goals and program planning
Maintain a well-organized classroom while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies
Promote positive behaviour guidance strategies and model respectful,



caring interactions with children and staff

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
Knowledge of special education practices and techniques is beneficial
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a classroom
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using computerized systems for record keeping
