We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring flawless finishes on various flooring projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with durable, high-quality epoxy floors that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting chance to work on diverse projects, utilizing your skills in flooring installation and construction to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings
Mix epoxy resins and hardeners accurately according to manufacturer instructions
Apply epoxy coatings using hand tools such as trowels, rollers, and brushes for smooth, even finishes
Follow blueprints and project plans to meet accurate specifications and deadlines
Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure durability and aesthetic standards are met
Maintain a clean work workplace by properly handling materials, tools, and waste disposal
Experience
Proven experience in flooring installation, particularly with epoxy coatings or similar materials
Familiarity with hand tools used in construction and flooring projects
Knowledge of blueprint reading to interpret project plans accurately
Construction experience with a focus on surface preparation and finishing techniques
Skills in tile laying, caulking, and general carpentry are advantageous
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks within construction projects
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
