We are seeking a dedicated Second Cook to join our kitchen team! In this role, you will assist the Kitchen Manager in preparing and cooking high-quality meals that keep guests coming back. Duties
Assist the BOH team in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Support food presentation by ensuring dishes are plated attractively and served promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
Contribute to meal preparation during busy service times to meet customer demand efficiently




Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences for guests

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in a kitchen setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to assist with cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly efficiently
Robust understanding of serving techniques and customer service principles
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
Basic culinary skills with a willingness to learn current techniques and recipes
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
