Overview

Intermissions Sports Cafe will be opening their next location inside Cole Harbour Place in September and are looking for front counter staff to join the team.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders at the front counter, ensuring a friendly and engaging experience
Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, maintaining quality and presentation
Operate POS systems
Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure all food handling meets health regulations
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of the front counter area, dining space, and food preparation zones in compliance with sanitation standards
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide excellent service to foster loyalty

Experience




Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while multitasking efficiently
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
Experience in cashiering or cash handling with accuracy in math calculations
Solid customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and food industry standards
