Dental Float – Part-Time
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Dental Float to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help keep a dental practice running smoothly and efficiently. Previous dental experience is an asset but is not required — we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and has a strong work ethic.
Schedule
Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Optional Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The position is 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday), with the option to add Fridays for an additional day.
About the Role
The Dental Float plays an important role in keeping our clinical areas organized, fully stocked, and ready for patient care.
Responsibilities will include:
Fully operating and managing the sterilization area
Cleaning, processing, sterilizing, and organizing dental instruments according to office protocols
Setting up and tearing down clinical operatories
Preparing and setting up dental trays
Ensuring operatories are clean, organized, and properly stocked
Restocking clinical rooms and supplies as needed
Monitoring inventory and notifying the team when supplies are running low
Helping receive and put away dental supply orders and sundries
Keeping sterilization and clinical areas clean, organized, and efficient
Assisting the clinical team with day-to-day needs as required
Helping maintain smooth patient and operatory flow throughout the day

Positive and skilled attitude
Previous dental experience is an asset, but not required
Dental assisting, sterilization, or healthcare experience is an asset
