Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a combination of driving expertise, warehouse experience, and strong communication skills to ensure timely deliveries and maintain high standards of safety.
Duties
Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for mileage and fuel consumption.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and assist with moving products as needed.
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 License With Airbrakes.
Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Solid customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers.
Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
