Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser / Press Break Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machine to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced setting.
Duties
Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
Utilize hand tools and CNC machinery for additional processing as needed.
Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in the setup of Tapping Machine and press brake machines when necessary.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating laser cutting machinery is preferred.
Familiarity with milling machines, press brake machines, and CNC operations is a plus.
Solid mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively.
Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product standards are met.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to operate a crane safely.
