Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable part time Class 1 Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills.

Duties
Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in positive working condition.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transport.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and safety.




Assist in minor automotive repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.

Experience
Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL).
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of basic automotive repair is a plus.
Robust understanding of safety protocols related to driving and freight transport.
