Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Freight Auditor at Grade 2 & 3 levels, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of freight and shipping transactions. This position offers an exciting chance to leverage your expertise in risk management, financial services, and accounting to support our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting detailed audits, analyzing freight data, and maintaining compliance with internal standards. Your proactive approach will help optimize freight processes, reduce errors, and safeguard company assets.

Responsibilities
Audit freight bills for rate discrepancies and missing accessorial charges.
Clear bills on the Rate Review Board.
Handle customer billing disputes and complete rebills as required.
Perform freight pricing calculations.
Inspect oversized freight to ensure shipments are billed correctly.
Apply transportation pricing and freight-rating principles.
Maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of work.
Work with customers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Requirements




College/University degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in transportation or a related industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with TMW, Freshdesk, and BamKPI is an asset.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional and tactful when dealing with customers and drivers.
Clean criminal background required.
