Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and effective kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and a passion for supporting a high-quality food service operation. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is a plus, but not required. This position offers an prospect to be part of a professional culinary team committed to excellence.

Ideally we are looking for a couple or two close friends to fill this position as the staff accommodation will be shared. Cost for accommodation and meals is $10/day.

Duties
Primarily housekeeping for our 16 cabins with some additional shifts helping out as a dishwasher in the kitchen of our restaurant.
Make beds, do laundry, wash floors and bathrooms
Setup fireplaces and deliver bags of wood to cabins
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
Assist in organizing and storing clean items properly for efficient kitchen operation




Support food preparation staff by providing clean utensils and equipment as needed
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold cleanliness standards

Experience
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Robust teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Basic understanding of kitchen operations related to food preparation and service is beneficial
