Finoro Homes has grown into one of Southwestern Ontario's most respected medium sized builders. We are looking for reliable, experienced individuals to join our current home construction team. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Site Technician
Skilled Labourer

What We're Looking For

The successful canidate will have:

-experience in new home construction

-a general understanding of the home building process

-familiarity with the Ontario Building Code

-knowledge of Tarion Warranty requirements and common recent home deficiencies

-experience with doors, windows, drywall repairs and finishing work

-good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

-a positive, dependable and hardworking attitude

-valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to identify what needs to be done

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will vary throughout the construction process and may include:

-back framing and general framing work

-setting and installing doors and windows

-general carpentry and deficiency repairs





-understanding and following construction drawings and plans

-assisting with various stages of new home construction

-general site clean-up and mainting an organized, safe work environment

-drywall patching and repairs

-paint touch ups

-finishing work and correcting deficiencies

-helping prepare homes for inspections and homeowner possession

-identifying and addressing construction issues before they become deficiencies

-working with trades and site supervisores to keep construction on schedule

-other general construction duties as required

Health & safety training is an asset but we are willing to provide the training. You MUST have a valid drivers licence

Salary rates will be negotiated based on experience. We pay competitive rates.
