Kitchen Helper – Thai Restaurant

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our Thai restaurant team. The successful candidate will assist with basic food preparation, kitchen cleaning, stocking, and other daily kitchen tasks. This is a hands-on position in a busy restaurant environment.

Training will be provided to the right candidate. Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize food ingredients
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
Keep kitchen counters, equipment, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist with plating and preparing orders according to restaurant standards
Wash dishes and maintain clean kitchen equipment
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
Help receive and organize food and kitchen deliveries
Report low inventory or supply needs to the supervisor




Dispose of garbage and maintain a clean work area
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset
No formal experience required; training is available
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling
Able to work on your feet for extended periods
Able to lift and move kitchen supplies as required
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Able to follow instructions and work well with others
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen setting
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required

Position Details

Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
