Job Description

Butter and Co. bakery located in Nored Plaza in North Nanaimo. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, work ethic and the drive for perfection! Our hours of operation are 8 am-3 pm 7 days a week. The candidate must be available for early morning, weekends and holidays. Early morning shifts start at 4 am and finish at 12:30 pm.

Duties
General Prep: Mixing doughs, proofing and baking bread and pastries, feeding starters, chopping/peeling/cutting fruits and vegetables for various jams and fillings
Laminating and shaping croissants
Making and decorating various tarts, puffs, and cookies
Maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including equipment, personal tools and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Secure requirements




Monitor and log shortages as required
Cleaning down work area and writing an accurate prep list for the next day
Must be available weekends and holidays
