Our client in Smithville is seeking a Packager for a Pet Food Packaging facility, for a contract role. See below for further details:

Responsibilities:
Packaging of food products according to company standards and guidelines
Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
Follow all food health and safety protocols and guidelines
Operate packaging machinery and equipment and will be working on the line
Maintain accurate records of production and packaging activities
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Experience:
Previous experience in a food processing or packaging role is an asset
Familiarity with food industry regulations and standards
Understanding of food safety practices and protocols or willing to learn

Skills:
Ability to package, and label food products efficiently and accurately
Robust attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work area
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Positive communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors





Shift time: Day shift 9AM - 6PM

Pay-rate: $19.50/hour
