Job Overview
Immediate full-time permanent prospect exists for a CNC machinist experienced in programming, setup, and operating a CNC mill. This role involves assisting with machining ensuring smooth production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, familiarity with CNC machinery, and a solid understanding of manufacturing principles. May include overtime when required.

Responsibilities
Setup, program, and operate a CNC machine center.
Set-up machine using the correct tools and fixtures in the most effective manner.
Assure adherence to tight tolerance dimensions.
Change tool length.
Debur and prep parts for loading or clean parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
Check parts using inspection tools such as micrometer, vernier, measuring block and height gauges.
Experience reading and understanding G codes.
Identify opportunities for improvement via new tooling and setup reduction costs.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean,



organized work workplace.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve workflow efficiency.

Skills
Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in machining.
Minimum 3 years experience in a CNC machinist role with programming, setup, and operation of mills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of Fanuc controls and full understanding of geometric tolerances.
Experience with team leading and managing objectives.
Prior experience in a machining environments is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
