Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure our spaces are hygienic, organized, and inviting for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to a positive experience for everyone who enters our facilities.

Duties
Perform routine cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct detailed commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain a spotless workplace
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to promote health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and furniture with attention to detail
Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed to the appropriate team




Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Keep cleaning supplies organized and notify management when supplies need replenishing

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within commercial or institutional settings
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of commercial cleaning equipment
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Positive physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe and clean environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
