Overview

Sarata Manufacturing Inc. is a growing metal fabrication and machining company operating from a newly expanded 18,000 sq. ft. facility in Windsor, Ontario.

We manufacture small- to medium-volume production parts and high-precision components for industrial and OEM customers. Our in-house capabilities include plate and tube laser cutting, CNC forming, welding, CNC machining.

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Welder-Fabricator who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Duties
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure exact fabrication
Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and power tools for shaping and forming metal components
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy in fabrication processes
Rigging materials and components safely for assembly or installation
Assist with machining tasks as needed, utilizing basic math skills for measurements and adjustments
Fabricate ductwork, structural supports,



or custom parts for construction or manufacturing projects
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and project completion

Requirements
Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) with the ability to produce high-quality welds
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
Knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation is a plus
Construction or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in ductwork or structural fabrication
Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with valuable basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting while maintaining productivity standards

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
