Security Guard - Squamish

Paladin Security is currently accepting applications for Security Officers to support a client site in the Squamish area. This position offers an prospect to work in a dynamic environment where professionalism, customer service, and safety are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform access control for all authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Conduct regular interior and exterior foot patrols to maintain a protected and secure workplace.
Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment.
Protect client property and assets by identifying and responding to potential security risks.
Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action and completing investigations as required.
Communicate effectively with the client, emergency services, and internal teams.
Complete detailed reports, occurrence reports, and daily activity logs.




Assist with traffic control and other security-related duties as required.

Requirements:
Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand and patrol for the majority of an 8–12 hour shift.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Comfortable navigating stairs, uneven terrain, and large properties.
Ability to remain calm and professional while responding to emergencies or challenging situations.
Basic computer proficiency, including report writing, smartphone applications, and two-way radio communication.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients, coworkers, members of the public, and emergency responders.
