ValleyCare Pharmacy – Abbotsford, BC

ValleyCare Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Medication Delivery Program.

The position involves providing medication delivery and nursing support to patients in the community, primarily individuals receiving treatment and support related to substance use, addictions and mental health, including patients receiving Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and other community medication programs.

Position Details
$32–$35 per hour, based on experience
Hours: Approximately 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Company vehicle provided for all deliveries

Responsibilities
Provide medication delivery services to patients in the community
Complete appropriate nursing assessments and observations as required
Work independently in the community while remaining in close communication with the pharmacy team
Identify and communicate patient concerns to the pharmacist
Follow pharmacy policies and medication delivery procedures
Complete required documentation
Provide skilled, respectful and non-judgmental care

Qualifications




Current LPN registration in positive standing in British Columbia
Valid BC driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
Comfortable working independently in the community
Comfortable working with patients with substance-use, addictions and mental-health needs
Reliable and able to consistently start at 8:00 a.m.
Previous experience in OAT, addictions, mental health, outreach or community nursing is preferred
Previous pharmacy experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
