We are expanding our team and currently seeking an experienced Water/Sewer and Earthworks Mainline Excavator Operator / Sideline Excavator Operator. 5 + years experience preferred and able to display competent skills for final grade. Must carry a valid driver's license and have own transportation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Protected operation of equipment and work practices.
Ensure quality control for all workmanship
Completion of equipment inspection reports on a daily basis
Follow ALL company procedures and report any incidents
Perform additional tasks as may be required

Required Skills:
Thorough understanding of construction equipment and methodology required to efficiently install underground pipe and structures.
Must have knowledge of water, storm and sanitary procedures.
Extensive knowledge of civil construction, load securement, hoisting, rigging and lifting techniques/procedures




Strong communications skillset
Ability to work with various personalities and provide transparent direction

Required Experience/Certification:
In depth experience with locates and working around existing utilities
Works well independently and with others.
Experience with trench boxes/cages
Safety training (First Aid, Ground Disturbance, WHIMIS, CSTS, etc.)

Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Mainline Excavator Operator in Water and Sewer : 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Class 5 Licence (required)
