⇢ Have proven experience as a chef or as a cook

⇢ Hold a valid Food Protected Level 1 Certificate

⇢ Have a clear Criminal Record Check

⇢ Be able to provide three written letters of reference

The Chef’s responsibilities include:

⇢ To be in compliance with all the Health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

⇢ To maintain,



clean and sanitize all the tools and equipment used in the kitchen on a regular basis

⇢ To create & prepare healthy weekly menus and process orders while maintaining cost

⇢ To comply with BC Legislation

⇢ To ensure the children receive healthy and nutritious food that corresponds to the Canadian Food Guide
⇢ To prepare and deliver food in a timely manner ensuring attractive presentation

⇢ To foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers.
