We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Massage Therapy Curriculum Developer to design and enhance educational programs for aspiring massage therapists. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in massage therapy, instructional design, and curriculum development, with a passion for advancing professional training standards. As a key contributor, you will develop engaging content, manage projects efficiently, and collaborate with educators to deliver comprehensive learning experiences that meet industry requirements.
Duties
Develop comprehensive massage therapy curricula that align with current industry standards and accreditation requirements.
Create engaging instructional materials utilizing tools such as Adobe Captivate and Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS).
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical effectiveness.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards through effective project management practices.
Design interactive e-learning modules, assessments, and training resources to facilitate effective learning outcomes.
Incorporate best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles into course development.
Provide guidance on classroom activities,
practical demonstrations, and presentation techniques for instructors.
Maintain explicit communication with stakeholders to ensure curriculum updates reflect evolving industry trends and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in curriculum development within the health care or massage therapy field.
Robust knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Experience in project management, coordinating multiple tasks from conception to implementation.
Excellent writing skills for creating clear, detailed educational content and training materials.
Classroom teaching or practical training experience in massage therapy or related health care disciplines is highly desirable.
Robust communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, industry professionals, and students.
