Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff to maintain a welcoming and effective environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for hospitality excellence. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, service quality, and team management.

Responsibilities
Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring smooth daily operations
Oversee customer service interactions to guarantee guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards
Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new team members to build a competent workforce
Train staff on restaurant protocols, food safety, and customer service best practices
Monitor cleanliness and organization of the dining area to uphold hygiene standards
Support restaurant management in inventory control,



scheduling, and operational planning
Lead by example in hospitality excellence, fostering a positive team setting

Skills
Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Background in hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous
Kitchen experience or food industry background preferred
Effective communication skills for interviewing, training, and team coordination
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and resolve conflicts effectively
Experience in restaurant management or overseeing food service operations is highly desirable

Pay: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
