Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Cook/Chef to lead our food service team. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, cooks, and food handlers
Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards
Manage kitchen operations, including food safety, sanitation, and inventory control
Lead food service operations during peak hours, ensuring timely and efficient service
Train new staff members on food handling, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
Monitor compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff and oversee menu execution




Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
Assist in hiring, scheduling, and evaluating team performance

Skills
Proven supervising experience within the food industry or restaurant management
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Deep understanding of restaurant operations, hospitality standards, and food safety regulations
Exceptional communication skills to effectively serve customers and manage staff
Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
