Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing underground utilities, ensuring safety and precision in all tasks. Candidates should have relevant experience in the field and possess a proactive attitude toward teamwork and quality workmanship.

Duties
Lay, assemble, and repair underground utilities. Set grade as needed. Install various watermains, storm mains, sanitary sewers, hydro and telus lines. Work and st grade for curb and gutter prep as well.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to ensure proper installation
Conduct Fusing tasks when necessary to join pipe sections or repair existing infrastructure.
Hand-digging for exposing exsisting underground utilities.
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications
Proven experience as a pipelayer or in a similar heavy construction role
Mechanical knowledge related to pipe installation and maintenance
Experience operating excavators,



backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy equipment
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
Electrical experience with low voltage systems is preferred
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics accurately
Solid understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and pipeline work
Valid certification or licensing for heavy equipment operation is a plus
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
