Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience operating Walkie Riders and electric forklifts and be highly confident driving forklifts safely in and out of trailers.

Candidates must also have excellent warehouse awareness and memory skills, including the ability to quickly recognize, locate, and remember where shipments, products, and inventory are stored within the warehouse. Experience in fast-paced warehouse and distribution environments is required.

Responsibilities
Safely operate Walkie Riders, electric forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment
Confidently load and unload trailers with accuracy and efficiency
Drive forklifts safely in tight spaces and in and out of trailers
Move, stage, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse
Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment
Maintain solid awareness of product locations and shipment placement within the warehouse
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies




Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications
Mandatory experience operating Walkie Riders and electric forklifts
Must be highly skilled and confident driving forklifts in and out of trailers
Robust knowledge of warehouse operations and shipment organization
Excellent memory and ability to remember product and shipment locations
Previous warehouse/distribution experience required
Forklift certification preferred
Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an asset
Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy
Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
