Inspire young learners and help shape bright futures. Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a 0.5 FTE Part-Time Temporary Elementary Teacher for a work assignment at Landing Trail School.

Landing Trail School, located in Gibbons, serves approximately 300 students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 4. The school also offers non-denominational Christian faith-based LOGOS programming to approximately 80 students, supporting spiritual growth while delivering the Alberta curriculum. Known for its dynamic, student-centered learning environment, Landing Trail is a place where both staff and students thrive.

What You'll Be Doing
Teach Kindergarten - supplementary programming with a STEAM focus, Mondays, Wednesdays, and scheduled Fridays - 0.5 FTE
Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning
Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Contribute to school initiatives and the broader school community

What You Bring
A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Experience teaching Kindergarten and/ or STEAM programming




Classroom management that fosters a safe and caring environment
Robust skills in using educational technology to support learning
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
