Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic East Indian Cook (specializing in Indian cuisine ) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes curry and/or tandoor items with precision and flair, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and dedication to food safety will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and measuring ingredients for efficient service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure health regulations compliance
Support meal assembly during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of dishes




Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality and presentation

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of Indian cuisine, including curry and tandoor items
Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper kitchen hygiene
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
Previous restaurant experience involving meal preparation and food handling is essential
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
