Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Day Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals that delight our guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to food safety, and ability to work efficiently during busy hours will be key to your success. Brunch / breakfast experience necessary.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is handled safely, stored properly, and prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food presentation, garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Support food service operations by efficiently serving dishes during meal times
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during peak hours

Requirements




Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to serve guests promptly while maintaining high-quality standards
Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
Robust attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
