Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a clean and efficient food service environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience through your hospitality and attention to detail.
Duties
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems for effective transaction processing.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a rapid-paced setting.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
