Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Cycle Counter for a temporary contract chance in Barrie, ON within a manufacturing and logistics environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented inventory professional with RF scanning experience, forklift certification, and a strong understanding of stock accuracy, cycle counting, and warehouse inventory procedures.
As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will help maintain accurate inventory records, identify discrepancies, support reconciliation activities, and communicate closely with material handlers, planners, team leaders, and supervisors. Key Responsibilities
Perform regular inventory cycle counts and stock takes to identify quantity discrepancies and support accurate inventory records.
Follow approved cycle counting schedules, operational procedures, and inventory control processes.
Reconcile inventory variances according to established policies and maintain accurate documentation of discrepancies and findings.
Communicate with material handlers, team leaders, supervisors, and material planners regarding material locations, inventory status, and scheduling needs.
Identify parts by reviewing drawings, descriptions, and part numbers to ensure accurate counting and reporting.
Operate forklifts as required to access inventory, including counterbalance and narrow aisle reach equipment.
Compensation and Perks
Pay: $23.75 per hour.
Annual salary range provided: $49,400 to $50,440 per year.
Job type: Contract/temporary.
Expected duration: 3 months, with potential for extension.
Anticipated start date: August 31, 2026.
