Responsibilities
Implement personalized ABA therapy plans designed by licensed behavior analysts to support skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
Collect, record, and analyze data on each child's progress to ensure treatment effectiveness and inform ongoing plan adjustments.
Engage children in therapeutic activities that promote communication, social skills, daily living skills, and independence.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and reinforce strategies across settings.
Administer medication as directed by medical professionals, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain a protected, clean,
and positive environment conducive to learning and growth during therapy sessions.
Follow all clinical guidelines related to patient care, including understanding medical terminology relevant to treatment plans.
Requirements
Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings is highly preferred.
Background in special education or related fields is advantageous.
Ability to administer medication safely following prescribed instructions.
Robust understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
Excellent data collection skills to track progress accurately and support evidence-based interventions.
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and team members.
