SOL Thermal is an Edmonton based company that manufactures removable insulation covers for valves and fittings primarily in the oil & gas industry across Western Canada. We are looking to add an experienced Shop Supervisor/Foreman to our growing team. This is a hands-on role, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to grow and develop along with the position.

Duties:
Direct supervision of 10 production employees
Coordinate project priorities and timelines with General Manager
Monitor production levels, ensure adequate performance from staff
Attend regular meetings with management, and conduct regular meetings with staff
Maintain materials inventory
Assist in all areas of production where needed
Ensure quality and timeliness of products being delivered

Required experience/skills:
Fluent communication in English (written/spoken)
Previous supervisor/management experience
Proven ability to lead others and delegate tasks appropriately
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Moderate computer skills
Comfortable working with fiberglass insulation

Assets:




Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production shop environment
Valid driver's licence
Comfortable driving pickup truck in and around the Edmonton area to do pickups and deliveries occasionally

Wage:

$20 to $30 per hour depending on experience and skills

Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday: 7:30am-4:00pm (44 hours weekly)

Benefits are provided after a 3 month probationary period.
