Blackstone Homes Ltd is a Award Winning mid volume builder with 6 show homes in Edmonton area. Reporting to General Manager, we are looking for a Site Superintendent to oversee several residential construction sites. Candidates require a broad working knowledge of several trades, including: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Framing, Foundation work, as well as an ability to oversee all trades and schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan and direct all construction activities from start to move-in. Well versed in Buildertrend software.

· Ensure all homes are delivered on time and within budget.

· Management of subcontractors: including scheduling, inspection, quality control, and approval of work.

· Materials management: including scheduling and checking deliveries, correcting take offs, and ensuring proper installation.

· Safety: responsible for in office implementation and management of company safety program including inspections, toolbox talks, documentation, and, reporting.

· Project maintenance: monitoring job-site cleanliness and holding subcontractors responsible for daily clean up.

· Customer Satisfaction: ensuring the deliveries of homes to our Customers are handled in a skilled manner in order to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:





· A minimum of 5 years residential construction management experience with a builder

· Very good understanding of construction process including all steps of construction and trade responsibilities

· Knowledge of construction management software like Buildertrend

· Ability to read and fully understand blueprints and specifications and have knowledge of latest builidng codes

· Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract record

· Strong hands-on manager with valuable decision making and problem solving skills

· Good communication skills. Position involves daily interaction with customers, outside agencies, subcontractors, vendors, and company personnel

· Solid organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

· Computer skills (MS Office including Excel)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
