COOKS - We are currently seeking a line Cook to grow our culinary team.

We have a professional kitchen that is reliant and fueled by motivated, hardworking individuals that have a passion for food. A good positive attitude is mandatory.

Terms of Employment: Full time (must be available days,evenings & weekends)

Salary: Starting wage is $18-$24 for first 3 months, increasing after 3 month review. Tips after 30 days.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Status: Canadian Citizen, Permanent resident, or valid work permit (minimum 1 year) required

Experience: Previous experience (min. 1 year) is required and culinary education is an asset.

Education: Completion of high school or previous work experience in a skilled kitchen

Credentials: Red Seal certification or apprenticeship program (asset but not required)

Essential Skills: Speak English, Read English, Write English, Reading text, Numeracy,

Work Setting: Restaurant Kitchen Line, Production Kitchen, Pizza Kitchen

Cooking Skills:



Use manual, gas, and electrical appliances to prepare, heat and finish food items, Knife skills.

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Transportation: Public transportation is available but having a vehicle is an asset.

Job Duties:
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Weekends as needed
