Responsibilities:
Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Utilize project management software to track and manage estimates
Prepare detailed bid proposals and negotiate contracts with clients
Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to management
Stay updated on industry trends, materials,



and pricing to ensure accurate estimates
Be able and or have experience on takeoff software such as Trimble

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating
Trimble software knowledge is a requirement
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices
Familiarity with project management principles and tools
Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
